Five stars aren’t even enough. In every travel vlog I’ve seen, I hear that Flying Fishbone is a must. I honestly thought it was overhyped and just an overall touristy place that locals wouldn’t even bother to step in. Boy, was I wrong! Before visiting the restaurant, I asked around to see what the locals had to say. Told that it’s just an expensive version of Zeerovers, we were reluctant to go. I’m thankful that we didn’t miss out as a result of this comment.

Let’s make one thing clear: if you visit Aruba without going to this restaurant, you didn’t visit Aruba. Flying Fishbone is a luxurious restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and incredible food. Queen and I sat in the highly coveted area, with our feet in the water and shoes and bags hanging on the stand provided. I highly suggest visiting during sunset hour as the views are breathtaking.

Flying Fishbone isn’t a restaurant. It’s an experience. With that said, the food was flavorsome, fresh, and simply delicious. Not to be compared with any other restaurant on the island. The ambiance alone will make you disregard the slightly steep prices.
